It's the best we could have hoped for. They were going to expand, but thankfully they've realized that 96 is moronic. It's going to go there eventually, but 68 for the foreseeable future is best case scenario.

What I'd love is to see the bubble teams have to play the PIGs rather than the low-major auto bid teams.

68 is a whole lot better than 96. At least the 4 play in games gives the automatic bid teams a chance to win a tourney game. Plus there will be 4 more obscure games/teams for PG's guy to bet.
