Default The Tin Man

I was watching HRTV today and they mentioned that The Tin Man was retired due to a broken knee that occured after he woke up from a minor surgery and started to thrash around. I haven't seen an article or anything yet. Hope he heals properly from his injury.

I will let everyone know what is going on and if there are any changes , right now he is tied up in the front of the stall because one wrong move and it could all be over for him.

He's a champion, Honu, we're all pulling for you. I'm sure everyone in the barn is devastated, but nobody better to have by his side, you've all taken such good care of him so far. Be good, Tin Man, be good!

Tinny is about the same this morning , his spirit seems to be doing better than ours at this point . His eyes look good and his coat is healthy and he is munching away on his hay. I think he doesnt understand why he has to be tied up , he's all like what did I do wrong.

He is going to have to stay that way until the bones start to heal.

Good to hear. He's a true warrior, and will be missed on the track... I would LOVE to see him take John's place at the Horse Park when he heals up.

Honu, I'm so very sorry- all my sympathy to all of you who kept him racing at the top for so long. What a grand warrior he is, and what fun he was to watch. Best wishes to him for a good recovery.
