Stopped by to see the Philly string late this afternoon. They all got more than their share of mints prior to dinner.

KnS looks to have recovered well. MM and the King look great also.

Steve ,
Saw where Philly Park is closing in 3 weeks for most of August. Any plans to run KnS, Mayflower and RBK anywhere else during that time?

Up to Chuck, but as mentioned elsewhere, Redboard very well may make the trip up to Toga for a start in the last third of the meet. Mayflower is likely to start before the break and then wait for the resumption of racing. KNS uncertain.

I am on the fence about Redboards next start. Possibly a stretchout attempt and maybe something later in the meet at Saratoga though Monmouths purses are so much better and the ship is a whole lot easier. Missus Mayflower will debut at Philly or Penn or Monmouth or if she takes a little longer to get to the post, Timonium. Kickin will probably run over at Monmouth on the 30th. She will probably get a little break during the down time at Philly.

I loved hearing how Missus Mayflower got her name. That's a great story.

Steve explained the name on At The Races yesterday when he had Steve Haskin on the show in the first hour...I wouldn't be able to remember the details and wouldn't want to mess it up but it should be in the archives.
