Anyone go back to the barn after the race? How did she come back? Safe and sound I hope.

What a day!!! Thanks to the DT Team!!!! Watched from Blue Bonnets in Montreal in the VIP section Martin and I went nuts what a thrill. Hope we can make it to a start soon. Martin hit the pick 4 at Pimlico, I hit KNS across the board and exacta. And to finish our day Tene got 2 gold medals yesterday at a Dancing competition.

Keep up the good work

I still haven't seen the race, but I would like to say congratulations to all involved. Everyone must be thrilled. DT a maiden no more... I guess the class relief was the ticket. Congrats again!!

One question. How did the DT faithful let her go off at odds like that? Usually she is bet down, there was no way I thought she would go off at odds above her m/l......

My dad and I just got back from the barn. She is looking and doing great. Eating well and actually relished some added affection and attention. She is definitely basking in the glory of her win.

Good luck today to GBBob and Chuck. No pressure as Chuck goes from 3 for 3 at AP.

I'm not sure there was all that much class relief. She was running for the winner's share of $19,000
and in her previous race ($50,00 claiming) the purse was only $18,000

so from a purse stand point she was actually moving up in class.

It came up about the same as the $50K's @ TAM for me too (1/29/08 was a bit tougher), which is good news!

Was thinking the same thing, have to wonder if she would have been 20-1 without the Dee Tee money, a huge overlay. I was shocked, and very happy, to get 7-1 on her.

1st place scored $11,400 ... not $19,000. $19,000 was the total purse.
