if Cacique won....good call you boys. I will make no excuses whatsoever. Edgar gave a perfect ride....he knew that EC could not win from the front and he gave EC the lead.

THE BEST HORSE WON TODAY....no doubt. BUT....MY LOVE for EC will not waver.

Moran....not sure about best horse he was tired and didn't like the ground, ...he needs to sit 5-6-7 and make a run, he gets the lead and wants to take off.....

TOLD YOU SKIP, wouldn't hit the board....

DEAD PERFECT trip for Cacique by Prado and it was just enough to win. Many props and congrats to the connections. I have nothing whatsoever against the horse, but in my heart EC will always be the man. I think if he has a target to run at, he wins. I have never liked EC on the lead.

It was a 'smart' ride by Prado, that horse is also usually a closer

Not happy at all with the way that EC looked rank and unsettled early. Pace was too slow for him. Oh well....life goes on. EC is still and always will be #1 in my heart. Im no bandwagon jumper.

I wish it would have been 1 1/2 miles. Poor old Grey Swallow gave it his all, but couldn't get them.

Nice call on Cacique though.

cacique ran a great race. Not sure what was up with ec, thought he was going to make a move in the final furlong and he just flattened out.

On the lead is NOT where EC needs to be.

Thumbs up

He didn't get the jump today like he did in the Woodford Reserve and JV looks like he is still a little tender. He can't raise his hand above his shoulders to whip the horse, I remember the last guy that came back too soon and was on top of the world before he got hurt, MIKE SMITH. When gomez rode EC it looked like the horse really knew was incharge and gave him 110% today it looked like JV was just trying to point him in the right direction, and kindly urge him. I think JV is probally the best jock in the US when he is 100% but 80% is not gonna fly aginst Prado, Castallano, Gomez, and Solis. If he was truly 100% he would of rode Adieu in the filly race. Unless Cordero had been working her in the morning and he knew she wasn't ready.
