Default DT Contest - FYI

FYI Contest Players… we are down to our final seven Derby prep races

Saturday, April 14
KEENELAND: Blue Grass (Grade I),
Distance: 1 1/8 M

OAKLAWN PARK: Northern Spur
Distance: 1 M

OAKLAWN PARK: Arkansas Derby (Grade II),
Distance: 1 1/8 M

Saturday, April 21
KEENELAND: Lexington Stakes (Grade II)
Distance: 1 1/16 M

PIMLICO: Federico Tesio Stakes,
Distance: 1 1/8 M

Saturday, April 28
AQUEDUCT: The Withers
Distance: 1 M

CHURCHILL DOWNS: Derby Trial
Distance: 1 M

We will also play the Derby itself, same as the contest has been this entire time but I may add in an added bonus – maybe an exacta box or an Oaks/Derby double bet… any thoughts?

Just as a reminder (as stated the first week of the contest), as an added bonus, anyone who places bets before the KY Derby on the eventual winner gets those points (or $$$) multiplied by 10 (ie: Barbaro in last years Florida Derby paid $5.20 / $3.60 / $2.80 for a $2 bet across the board so your return was $11.60. With this contest, after he won the KY Derby, you would be credited with an additional $116 - Winning points of $11.60 x 10 = $116).

I think getting real is something several should consider.

As I am leaving town on a fishing trip for the next 4 days, I ask that you allow me to throw a couple out before the draw. I already missed two weekends early in the contest.

Bluegrass- Dominican alt Great Hunter

Arkansas- Deadly Dealer alt Officer Rocket

Don't know who's nominated for the other, so I'll have to pass.

I'll put these down as your picks for this weekend.

Have fun this weekend... next to watching the races, fishing is my idea of a perfect day
