OK, I am way behind so trust me on this quick update and if I'm wrong I know there's someone here that will let me know . . . and I'm OK with that really. So we kick off the year with totals for the first 3 weeks as follows:

Points and ROI Totals through December 5, 2015

So starting off the year it appears that Ruffian and JB are trading off on points wins (conspiracy maybe ) to keep the rest of us at bay . . . at least for a while. Anyway Ruffian continues to excel early on as she always does it seems each year out of the gate garnering nice points in both contests with place spots and JolyB is not letting her get too far away as he takes the Points Contest in his usual "tough card" fashion.

DonGuido catches lightning in a bottle he's not used to with a win in ROI and a tie for 3rd in Points moving him up the ladder. Will the real DG please stand up? Real Quiet nabs the super spot in points and hangs tough in the early middle of the pack. And digger shows up in the gate for the first time this year and is rewarded with a tie for 3rd in Pts.

It's so early and we have miles and miles to go. Enjoy the ride, truly and I aim to. Thanks for playing and being here . . . y'all knows how much I luvs yas!!!

Points and ROW Totals through December 12, 2015

First off I am announcing the coining of a new acronym "ROW" since the typo was so well received "ROW" replaces ROI, meaning Return On Winvestment". You asked for it now we got it . . . and I kinda like it . . . makes me smile!!!

Back to business, I will still say, "will the real DonGuido please stand up", going off on a rampage with a repeat in ROW (Never happened in all his years) and a SWEEP to add to it, catapulting himself past JB and Ruff and taking away their tit-for-tat early goings on and garnering a very early commanding lead. I just have to say, nice job . . . self!!!

And adding to dual winners, JolyB does his thing again by scoring in both contests to move up to the two spot and Ryonker1 lands nice points for a 2nd in Pts. Adding to multiple scoring is Digger hitting on the show spot for both contests landing 3 spots up from before.

Remember ROI now = ROW, Return On Winvestment. Come to think of it, it's kind of Elmer Fuddish isn't it? I like it even more now but don't get me going on Mr Fudd . . . would you accept WOW = ROI, Weturn On Winvestment? Now that's just widiculous.

JolyB stays in the mix as he adds points for his 2nd in Pts while Ryonker1 pulls down the win in Pts hanging tough in the 4 spot. Plenilune wins the ROI and hits a nice 3rd place in Pts jumping over 2 players to take on the 5 hole and Digger and Cruzan200246 grab the same points landing in a tie for 4th in Pts.

Back to Guflstream for our first contest of 2016 and before you know it we'll be talking Derby.

There are changes in the ranks and we'll start to number the top 10. This is a quick update which I do now and then. Busy, busy with family stuff and work is starting off with a big bang at the Dallas Zoo this year. Sorry, but I'll get back to the norm (if there is one) soon.

Big notes are that JB continues to show up somewhere or everywhere every week and congrats to RQ for an excellent SWEEP and a BIG move up the ladder. And Plen and Ruff not doing too bad either week after week!!!

DonGuido manages to add to his lead by squeaking out a tie for 4th in Pts and Real Quiet stands tall in the two spot finding a 3rd in Pts as JolyB locks arms with DG for a tie adding show points and hangs tough in the 3 hole. The big winner of the day was swedejxn with a very nice SWEEP jumping from the 10th to the 5th rung on the ladder . . . way to go swede. And not to be left out Criminal Type takes in Place points for the day adding to his nest egg.

Real Quiet lands a 1st in Pts and keeps marching on, leading us from a distant vantage point while JolyB continues to be in the money most every week hitting the show spot in Pts. Criminal Type stays high in the Rockies with a 2nd in Pts and Ruffian goes right along in the higher altitude with a nice 1st in ROI and 4th in Pts). Ryonker1 nabs the pace spot in ROI and Digger adds points to jump over Plen with his 3rd in ROI.

So we have change up top with JolyB jumps up 2 spots after nailing a SWEEP and a 2nd in Pts the following week and is now our new leader . Real Quiet continues to roll on but is now #2 on the board and Ruffian hangs TUFF in the 4 hole as well with strong showings the last two weeks. DonGuido gets energized and moves up 2 spots to take over the 5th rung on the ladder as Plenilune adds nice points to jump over Digger taking on the 8 hole. And NJ Stinks exercises his wagering prowess now leading the lower tier.

OK so I can't let this go but this is the 1st week in a loooooooooog time that the top 3 have been void of points . . . rare account for sure. Don't account Ruffian out anytime, especially when there's a feline in a race as she hangs tough in the 4 spot and DonGuido wakes up a bit as he nabs quality points to break the 200 mark holding on to the 5th rung of the ladder. Ryonker1 does a nice job hitting a 3rd in Pts and Digger jumps over Plen to take over the 8 hole landing a 3rd in ROI while NJ Stinks keeps leading on the lower tier chalking up yet another ROI tally.

On to the Spa again for the big Travers card. Can anyone say UPSETS will abound???
