Default Straight Talk

From Gulf's 3rd today, 2/5. I realize before the trouble he was getting a perfect trip, but the trouble was immense, and completely absurd. What Jeremy Rose was thinking I have no idea.

Man it looked like he had plenty of run as they turned for home, why not get him out a little. He put the horse in a bad spot not once, but twice it was a piss poor ride by Rose.

I was in a rush when I posted, I certainly could have used more descriptive language regarding the ride. Possibly the worst of the year! Certainly would have finished 2nd if he hadn't gotten by the 10.

Totally agree Seth, no clue what the hell he was thinking! Hope he got torn a new one after the race! I don't know how he could have explained the ride to the connections afterward, it was a joke!

Back finally in Keeneland's 3rd on Friday on the synth. The fact that it's taken him 56 days to return concerns me a bit, 6-1 ML.

The horse who won his last came back to win, and they are looking to step him up now.

Think he was entered, but drew the 15 or something and scratched

My concern about the layoff was valid. That was a short horse out there today. Loomed boldly until the top of the stretch, then had nothing left. I'll give him another chance next time out.
