Default The Breeders' Cupcake?

http://www.breederscup.com/content.aspx?id=45696

I guess I've been living under a rock, but I swear I had no idea there was a signature Derby pie. Never heard a peep about it on tv, and I've seen a lot of ESPN/network coverage. All I ever knew about was the mint julep. Gotta to hand it to the BC. They dream big. In an effort to mimic the Derby they bring you...signature purple cupcakes. 1 is $3.75, a dozen is $40, and a dollar per cupcake sold goes to the Robby Albarado Foundation, to be matched by the Breeders' Cup. It sounds tasty. Somebody get one at Churchill and give us a review.

Incidentally, try saying "Breeders' Cup Cupcake" 3 times fast.

No high altitude instructions either? All the Rockies will have done for racing come Saturday and they neglect us.

The icing is a little different for the batch I'm making. Zenyatta fans should love it.

Wow I didn't know about this.

I suppose one could make the damned things and then prance about the kitchen with their official BC purse.

A mere $2,295 and thank you in advance to Steve for ordering one for each of us.
