Please Jerry... Save it. Call was a slam dunk. The bumping was mutual and then hapless Napravnik made the decision automatic herding the winner 4 paths.

Mutual? She freaking started it!

Also, why 5 wide into the first turn?

From what I saw taking him down was the right call. I had Myositis Dan, so purely an unbias observation.

I didn't bet the race, just watched it and think the call to take Bayern down was TERRIBLE! Even though I had no money on it the thought of having the winner and being screwed out of my money like this makes me think this game is even more impossible.

You saw the race, but did you see the head on?

Agree Steve that was an Easy Call, Didn't notice it at first during the Live running as I was watching our colt.

That was one of the easiest DQs you'll ever see.

Not sure how you can argue against a DQ here... I agree with Nick and Steve, about the easiest call possible. Come out 4 paths and you're coming down.

Yeah I did, watched it again today and can see why the dq was made.

*note to self- don't watch a race replay at 3am after a night of drinking and post on derbytrail haha.

Absolute no brainer from the head on, 4 paths I think I counted! Bayern had to come down.

I think a case could have been made for DQ'ing Bayern for the first round of bumping as well.

How was he the best horse? The top 2 duel the entire way and he cant pick them off? I thought he hung, badly.

He would have won if he didn't have to alter course a bit when the 4 came out on him. Once he accelerated the only thing that was beating him was the diminishing length of track he had left.
