I agree on Lugo. The only way he leaves is if the Red Sox take a bag of used balls, and fungo bats, and give whoever takes him another decent prospect and eats all but the league min of Lugo's salary.

I think he would be nasty in that lineup, but I really have never cared for him. I would love his numbers, but not him.

So you want him to go to a major rival? LA Dodgers or Angels?

I would hope he goes to the Dodgers (gets him out of the AL and then he can bomb in the playoffs over there), but from what I have heard, it seems the Angels have one of the best shots at getting him (This still gets him out of the AL East).

Where do you think he goes? If the Yankees stick to their word, they are not going to get him back, I really do not think the Sox will sign him...

Who else is willing or has the money to give him the long term, high priced deal he wants?

If Yankees get Lowell then it is pretty fair to assume Red Sox would go afer Arod. They have the $ to do so.

I HOPE THE INDIANS GET AROD!!!

Isn't this more Boras than A-Rod. He always puts himself in the spotlight when it is brightest. I understand A-Rod employs him but this is the Scott Boras show. A-Rod is trying to get the most money he can and Boras does that for him. It doesn't mean A-Rod agrees with everything that is done, he just may be going along with instructions to get the $$$$$.

Maybe he will go to the Tokyo Brewers and become Brew A Rod.

Kinda like a two way thing there.

I'm mighty proud of it.

Blew A Rod= Brew A Rod in Japanese

Brew A Rod is also the Brewer term if they were in Milwaukee...which they are.

---------

I should add all this stems from the Detroit Tiger term....Blew a rod( or "threw" a rod).....as in an overstressed engine.

That's for Dimmy.

"Most people, sometime in their lives, stumble across truth. Most jump up,brush themselves off, and hurry on about their business as if nothing had happened. It is my firm belief Dimmy just kicks it out of his way."
