Default #1 Cash Crop

I'll begin by saying that in NO way do I advocate its use (maybe for medicinal purposes, but that's a different debate). I saw a report on MSNBC about this agricultural "crop" and was stunned to see that it makes more than corn and wheat, combined.
I post this for informational purposes only. Again, I don't advocate its use.

Well, if you're the guy driving the $80,000 car and wearing a $20,000 watch but have never had a checking account what else are you supposed to be doing?

50% higher than the next crop. Amazing.

Timm,
Your state is #1! Over $13 Billion.
And here, all the while, I thought it was about lettuce, spinich, and all the garlic coming out of Gillroy.
What's up with avocadoes?

There's a lotta BUSY people in Cali!! Avocadoes are about 3 bucks each right now! It'll have to be the frozen stuff for the Bowl games,I'm afraid! I'm actually FOR Medical marijuana...For the people who's entire life is pain..who's every calculated move is judged by the degree of pain endured! God bless them and ease their pain. btw...apparently it's safer to smoke dope than have a salad these days...who'd a thunk it??

I agree with you on this.
Who'd a thunk it?
My best guess (and I've never tried it, well, NEVER inhaled it) is that it dries and and gives a better buzz than dried spinich.
Never tried smokin' garlic either.
Must not help the "smoker's breath".
Ever try lettuce? I haven't.
Anything on arugula?

I tried it once 35 yrs ago...and the people who gave it to me told me to swallow the smoke? Anyway...It messed up the "mechanics" of my cigarrette smoking...so no buzz for me! On rare occasions...I use tequila for medicinal purposes

Hey Timm,
There's no need to confess.
I'm not a priest, though I did play one once, and also stayed at a Motel 6.
Anything for medicinal purposes is ok with me...as if that matters.
Cazadores is pretty good.
Then again, as the words to the song go..."whatever gets you through the night."
