I don't believe the series will come back to St. Pete. And I concur with Bigs.

Cole Hamels is rarely an underdog but the Phillies starters drop off quite bit after him (except when Myers on occasion).

Blanton has done alright in the playoffs so far.

Moyer is being hit like crazy. I dont know how I feel about him pitching in the WS, and as the phils rotation is now, Moyer would be our man if it comes down to Game 7.

I love what Moyer has brought to the team, he is a great Mentor to Cole and a great leader in the clubhouse, and he had an outstanding regular season for a 86 year old guy. When he retires (if he EVER does!) I really hope the Phils sign him as a bullpen coach.

I just am not comfortable with him pitching in the WS. When your playing the best of the best teams, they're gonna be able to hit this guy (as they have been). He just doesnt have the heat!

Do teams go to a 3 man rotation ever for the WS? I'd love to have Cole be able to pitch 3 times if need be.

With the current 4 man rotation, I'd like them to switch Meyers and Moyer so Moyer can pitch Game 2 and Meyers pitches Game 3. Moyer has a much better Away ERA than home, where Meyers has a much better Home ERA than Away... seems to make sense to switch em around.

I would like to hear Charlie Manuel get some credit here.

That dumb hillbilly from West Virginia hasn't done too bad for the Fillies.

You have to love the guy. When he was here....Shapiro told him late in his last year they would be interviewing manager candidates for next year, but not to worry as Charlie was one of the candidates they would interview.

REALLY.

Manuel told him to shove the sham he was trying to run and quit on the spot.

Shapiro appeared before the cameras the next day with the Dimmy in the headlights look.

Just another reason I can't stand Shapiro and Wedgie, but love Manuel.
