Default Please pray for my dog Pebbles

the past 4 days have been hard as this looks my super resilient dog of 20 years finally may be on its way out. It hasn't been able to poop and soon blood started to come out. Sadly, now it can't even walk let alone prop itself up to sleep or rest. Thanks for your kind words and prayers in the past.

earlier in the year she was feeling a bit ill and started to throw up but after a few days she perked up, and just a few weeks ago she went missing but luckily someone turned her into animal control. I know alot of people here have pets and love them dearly, they have also have shared stuff about their pets, I came here for a little support not here to read your stupid ass bullshit.

Maybe Pebbles is trying to commit suicide by eating glass?

Seattle, sorry to hear about that.Sounds like it's been a good dog. So,don't let it suffer. At some point,if the vet tells ya it's time, then do what's best for the dog.

Sorry to hear Jerry, you know how much I love animals and especially my dog Skippy...believe me, I understand. Lots of good folks here, Chad and ddthetide both of whom went way way out of their way to help me with my guys, many others who were supportive...when it comes to animals, folks either "get it" or they don't...best wishes,
John

Oh,sorry Seattle........Bad timing...Well,for anybody else out there in this type of spot, the only thing that has ever made this easier(for me) is to get other dog(s) before the old one passes. It will just keep your mind from being so much on the one dog....Distraction can help (at times.)

never a big animal person (not allowed to have any pets growing up) but sorry to hear about your loss and just remember the good times in the 20 years you were lucky to have.

Merry Christmas

i'm thinking of getting another. my rat isn't that old, but she's a very good dog, and the new one would hopefully learn from her. i think it helps to have a good dog to help train the newbie.

sorry seattle that you guys will grieve, but it sounds as tho your dog had a full, long life.

I think it's best to have atleast 2 dogs. They are pack animals. So,it's more natural to them to be with another dog than alone.Depends a lot on the breed though. The breed I have(minpins) doesn't do well alone(generally.)
