How did you do this year?
I often wait for a few more weeks, but for me, the vote is in, and besides I hear the world might end in a few weeks, (Just when I'm watching my 50/1 shot complete the pick 6!)...
After over 40 years of playing the ponies 2012 was easily the absolutely worst year ever! I mean I went from on fire late 2011 to 6 feet under from the time the baloon hit the pavement in Times Square. Mind you there were times when I was close, but, anyone on an eighth grade date knows about getting "close". So for me, 2013 cannot come soon enough, as I need some change and boy am I due! How about you?

Had some good moments and bad, but more bad then good. Seemed way tougher this year to me too.

I've had a good year in terms of betting...but I'm on quite a roll in terms of life in general over the past week, the dentist went yard on me last week and getting into a car addicent yesterday... I'm out close to $10,000 just between the dental work and my car getting totaled with no collision insurance. Unless they find the other person at fault for the accident, which they won't. At least I had liability coverage or I'd really be having a nightmare week.

If it wasn't for the Derby and the BC, it would have been a very bad year! Those three days were really thrilling for me though.
Worst year ever for Gulfstream and Saratoga. |

So, if I am found at fault for the accident...my insurance pays for damages to the other car and person (the person in the other car didn't even have a bruise and is fine) However, I'm SoL on my own car and I will have to pay the other persons deductable. If I'm not found at fault (unlikely) the other persons insurance will take care of the value of my car. |

If Little Mike doesn't win the three G1 races he did, I'd have had a fine year.

Little Mike had a reverse affect on my bankroll for sure. Ass has been kicked last couple of months, last big hit was Gome on Dude winning the Cup and Undaunted Rally capping the P4 at +50-1 on Gold Cup day at the 'wood for a buck plus had the w/p on UR also .

Really good year everywhere except for Saratoga.
The Spa has done me in the last 3 years, seriously cutting back my handle there next year. |

I'm actually in the black for this year. Overall ROI is +14.65%. Win percentage is 25%; win ROI is just above even though (which is an improvement over years past). Got my ass handed to me on multirace wagers; -16.79%. Big year for exactas: +127.84% thanks to a $252 job at Gulfstream and a $150+ hit at Monmouth. Thanks to Sandy I didn't have a chance to lose hundreds on the BC this year, which certainly helped the bottom line.

Me too. Sad part is, there have been some very good days. Unfortunately way to many BAD days.

Held my own for the most part, but every Nerdy Trail field trip I went on (Tampa & Belmont Stakes Day) were absolute bloodbaths.
