Default You know, this is why Horse Racing gets bad press

Page 2 in The Columbus Dispatch, today's edition. Their is a picture taking up a good deal of space on this page of Calvin Borel looking back at Frances G, who collapsed at Saratoga yesterday. This picture makes it look like Frances G is either dead or seriously injured. The horse is laying on it's left side. At the end of the piece it tells the readers that both Calvin and Frances G will be ok.

Nice, real nice Columbus Dispatch. Showing a picture of a horse laying on it's side and the jockey looking back at it. That was not news worthy, as far as our local paper. Thank goodness both parties involved will be just fine. Nice touch Sports Editor, surely their was some other news worthy item that could have been put their instead.

thankfully she should be ok after collapsing from the heat after the race. unfortunately too many horses cannot recover once down on the track.
