Probably within a few hours of the franchise agreement being finalized.

I will, however, check.

I just called today about tickets for Saratoga and found out that they went on sale in October (Festival tent tickets) ... they never sent me a notice.

Will the same be true for Season Tickets at Saratoga?

I think the application usually goes out after January 1, but with NYRA, that usually turns into somewhere around February 1.

The answer is, as expected, once the franchise deal is finalized. Sorry but I can't do any better....and neither can NYRA. I'm sure it won't be a problem. It wasn't until the last year or two that seat orders went out even this early.

I've received a few things from NYRA to this point, and some things I have not received as of yet. I received a notice and application for "group sales" for Saratoga, but no notice for my regular seat application.

Yesterday I received my Belmont stakes ticket invoice, but it was from the group sales dept. We've had the same 20 seats for that past 10 years.

Hope that is helpful.

I just received a letter from NYRA stating that as soon as the Franchise issue is settled they will be sending out the Saratoga reserved seat applications.

Hopefully the Legislators get their acts together soon, doubtful I know, but I'm optomistic.

Anyway just thought I give the update.

I feel like I had my Belmont tickets in hand last year at this time.

Looks like we got them around the end of April last year. They will probably be delayed a few weeks this year because of the franchise fiasco.

This would be a far cry from NYRA's mostly manual process.

So ticketmaster will handle sales for all days at Belmont Park? Or just for one day that being Belmont Stakes day?

What source did hear this from?

Since you guys seem to know what is going on with this, I'll ask is it hard to get tickts to Belmont on the day of the Belmont? I have always wanted to go up for it ive been there for BC couple of years ago but would like to go when the weahter is nicer. Any insights?
