Correct answer. I give you credit for that one. I remember Sam back in Detroit calling the T-breds for Ladbroke DRC. He was such an improvement over the local guy we had over there at the time.

LOL. Jack Riggs... He was even worse at Hazel where the speakers sounded like they were holding an electric razor next to your head.

I would be out at Hazel sometimes, down on the apron listening to Jack's call.
He would always finish the race the same way "on through the stretch, it's Cedar Ridge!". Except with the bad speakers you often couldn't tell what horse he called. It sounded like the teacher in the Charlie Brown movies.
True story, I would sometimes try to figure out who he called by the number of syllables I could make out.

Another phrase he used every single race was, " and now moving up with a burst of speed is "
