Default Best Race You've Seen In Person

Can be a big event or something else.

Mine would be the Meadowlands Cup that Gander won. As described by the Bigm in 2001 "Racing highlights included a blanket finish in the $500,000 Grade 2 Meadowlands Cup with Gander coming out a head in front of Broken Vow and Include."

I loved Gander and the entire stretch he fought off 2 horses--New York style--battling to the wire. Awesome race to see in person.

Wow, I wish I was there for Holy Bull's Travers. Sad thing is, I was in Saratoga that day but not at the track. Ugggh

Blushing K.D. was probably the most impressive filly I've seen in person. Saw her at Monmouth before she got hurt. Really really good.

I've got to go with Personal Ensign at the BC, also. Didn't think she was gonna get there.

Excitement wise I would say '03 BC Turf dead heat between Johar and a favorite of mine High Chapparral. Performance wise, although skeptical about this race I would have to say Street Sense in the Juvenile.

The Test Stakes with You and Carson Hallow was the most exciting race I've seen in person.

Default Affirmed Belmont

Affirmed/Alyday Belmont Stakes...

Recently, it was hard to top the Whitney last year with Invasor and Sun King

Many at Saratoga the last eight years, but my personal favorite was
Silverbulletday's Alabama victory in the rain.

1985 strub

a fierce stretch drive from precisionist, greinton and the ever goofy gate dancer. this after precisionist set a sick pace and somehow found more.
