i'm using his searching for a new job every year while at louisville as a pretty good indicator of his mode of operation.
he is not content anywhere. there's always greener grass...right...over...there...

All this for Arkansas? There have been multiple reports that Kiffin isn't thrilled with being in Oakland. It could be one and done for him there also.
one of the jobs petrino tried for.

we listened to ark sports radio this afternoon. and of course wally hall had an article in todays paper, pretty much glossed over petrino ditching the falcons the way he did--explained it away--'the season was over anyway'.
he and the others on the radio are thrilled to have petrino, and actually laughed at Blanks reaction. just wait til it's their turn.

we called to give our POV, but they only want rah rah, it's great people calling. tony got cut off. he told them to record todays show, and play it back when petrino leaves them next year.

and petrino absolutely is a weasel. but then, he always has been. two, three years at the most at fayetteville. of course arkansas had a coach a few months ago that backed out the next day. petrino always looking around for another spot, whether it be weeks or months from now.
that was basketball, and the guy in question (Dana Altman) is an A+ class act and I think he realized quickly that Creighton was the right place for him and made the correct decision to return. SEC basketball isn't right for a guy like him, he's very much a Mo Valley guy.

talking about this on the radio yesterday. chow is a great OC and QB coach but has NO "personality" during interviews. therefore schools don't think he can "sell" the program during recruiting or to alums.
ALOT of assistant coaches are just better #2 men.
