I don't get this Black Jack guy either. We rented King Kong a few weeks ago. The guy was awful. Had to Fast forward up to where the ape shows .

This movie looked stupid. I have been amazed that it has made as much money as it has. How is it staying in the top five movies and making millions of dollars?

Buffy its kind of like when an author has a few good books and the puts out bird cage lining material just to sell a book. People buy it because of his previous work. Black has made some funny movies so people buy tickets just because hes in it. This is probably his last free pass though.

Only time J. Black was really funny was the days of Tenacious D, which was basically his character in School o Rock. Used to be on HBO a while back.

See Jack Black in "High Fidelity", the terrific indie pic with John Cusack as the angst-ridden and lovelorn Chicago record store owner... Based on the Nick Hornby best seller. If you've never seen it, I can't reccommend it highly enough. An unbelievable cameo cast include Catherine Zeta-Jones, Tim Robbins, (the incomparable) Lili Taylor, of course Cusack's screwball sister Joan, and scrumptious Danish pastry Iben Hejile...

Black was GREAT in this as one of two clerks in the record store that constantly bicker and argue over "best" lists to the chagrin of Cusack. Black is however over the top though more often than not..

Pirates of the Carribean comes out this weekend, should be good. Also, curious to see that M. Night Shamalan(sp?) movie, ofcourse with him, I get excited to see the movie and then it turns out to be a pile of dung, with the exception of Signs and Sixth Sense, but he keeps me coming back.

my wife and i enjoyed "over the hedge" and "cars" is pretty good. I can't wait for "Pirates"

the night we saw "over the hedge", there were mostly adults and the adults enjoyed it more than the few children!
