Default OMG! Kurt Hoover my new favorite horse racing guy

He has always been high on my list of someone to learn from when it comes to handicapping knowledge and reasoning, but he just become one of my favorites individuals period as he just recommend to Hazelton on HRTV to get Body Count by Ice T as a real good album! Hazelton had never heard of Ice T, the rapper...

WOW! Hoover listening to Ice T, that is pretty awesome

People can certainly vary on musical taste, but, from what I remember, he's (Hoov.) a cat person. Cats are 1 step up from rats.

quick personal example of why Kurt is one of my faves. We have a horse at PM named Foxy Lady, and one day she was rallying after the leader so i said "and Foxy Lady says, here i come baby, i'm coming to getcha!" just like Jimi Hendrix says it. (i realize it's not that clever, but it was a Wednesday at PM for goodness sakes, gotta do something fun)

anyways, they pan back to Joanne Jones on HRTV and she says "well that was an....interesting race call" with the tone basically saying "who is this knucklehead" and Kurt comes right back and said "Joanne, that was a great jimi hendrix reference!!" thanks for the save Kurt!

Birdman? Seriously G?

And Scav, the old GG/BM caller (Tony Calo I think was his name) was supposedly a hip-hop gan.

I can't recall the other time, but it had to have been fairly recently since I was at home watching it and you had another similar one. Not sure it was Hoover who gave you the props, but someone on HRTV *loved* it.

My lack of specific details renders this post rather meaningless, but it makes PM have some potential to be a bit more fun

EDIT: Coronas at Del Mar on the day Nance FREAKED.

He's not my favorite rap artist... not the best lyricist, won't be remembered for being the voice of his generation or anything but without him there would be no Cash Money (Cash Money Records, for anyone who doesn't know what the hell I'm talking about) so in a way he's the founder of the new reniassance.

(Someday listen to I'm Me by Weezy. I'd post the lyrics or a link but ummm I think it might be inappropriate).

I'm not even a Wayne fan but he blows his "dad" out of the water. I don't really even consider Baby (his Cash Money name, I can't start calling him Birdman now) a rapper. He barely puts out any music and basically just leeches off Wayne and now Drake.

I'll stop now.

I really don't like Drake. (Degrassi ). I mean I like Forever but the Kanye / Weezy / Eminem parts.

Birdman has some fun stuff and he complements Wayne so well. Fireman, Pop Bottles, We Takin Over (okay that's a Khaled song, but...)... they go together well.

I love Hendrix, Floyd, Neil Young but really...it started to get old so I began to appreciate other stuff.

Okay I'll stop!
