Default Andrew Luck

I don't see it with this guy. Not at all. Now way back in September I did Joey S top 10 quarterbacks list. I had him no where in the top 10..... So I'm not just basing him on how horrible he has looked tonight. I don't understand him one bit. I see nothing special, ever. Even when he makes these comebacks its usually because he tosses 2 or 3 interceptions. Anyone who saw First Take on Friday knows Skip Bayless does not love him either, and feels he is pretty overrated. He throws a ton of interceptions, 27 in two years. That's not counting the playoffs. Plus anyone who follows football knows the AFC south was by far the worst division in football this year, by FAR. The other 3 teams had a combined record of 13-35, 5 games worst then any other division. I would take Alex Smith all day over Luck with everything else being equal.

Peyton had 43 INTs in his first 2 seasons. Save this thread for a decade. And quoting Skip Bayless to prove anything is beyond stupid.

Skip Bayless is an emmy nominated sports personality.... Not sure why you and Chuck hate him.
Like I said I don't see it with Luck, not at all. And I'm a Texans hater but I expect a Kansas City like turnaround from them next year, so the Colts won't have those 6 freebees again.
As for you're Peyton argument another grossly overrated guy. I'm dealing in facts here, Peyton can go down as the best regular season QB ever, but his playoff performances have been shaky at best. Look through his playoff numbers, you find a lot of home losses as heavy favorites from Peyton Manning teams.

I think Luck will be just fine. He's not the first QB to take some lumps in his first couple seasons, and won't be the last either. Let's see how he plays when Wayne comes back opposite Hilton, and they improve that running game. Obviously Luck had overall a rough night, he did make a few throws that were terrific, in my opinion he seems like a smart kid who can grow from this seasoning and experiences bad and good in the last couple weeks.
Oh and regarding Skip Bayless, the few times I have heard the guy he sounds like an idiot in my opinion.

First, Andrew Luck had bad night. However, he still made some excellent throws, too. He does not get scared & keeps trying until final whistle. His time will come.

Second, Peyton Manning is already a Super Bowl winning QB. Through 47 Super Bowls, only 30 winning QBs exist. Very exclusive group.

Last, Skip Bayless was well-respected print journalist years ago. Now, he is fish monger one who will say anything to get noticed. Bayless still makes some excellent points from time to time. Luck and Peyton comments rate as pointless ones by him. His 'First Take' gig has made him a caricature.

They were 2-14, then drafted Luck and went 11-5 while making the playoffs in the last 2 seasons. This year, they beat KC & SF on the road and while also beating Denver & Seattle at home. You couldn't be further off base here.
And for the record, Your Joey S's top 10 QB list, sucked balls.

2-14 with literally no QB because Peyton was hurt. Anyone competent would have improved them.
As for my list 7 of the 10 in the playoffs. 4 of top 5 still playing with only Rodgers out, barley out.

He mentions Luck's 27 int's in two years but either doesn't know about or fails to mention Peyton's 28 ints in his rookie year alone. 40+ picks in his first two yrs.

Andrew Luck is certainly on his way to being regarded as one of the best quarterbacks in the league, imo.

Stop it. One has 3 Super Bowls the other gets his first ring this year.

103 Yds passing would indicate a championship IN spite of instead of Because of. Kapeernick, RGIII, Wilson = Short Shelf life. Watch. Those of us that don't experience watching the greatest player ever on a DAILY basis realize it.

This gets funnier by the minute. You put Tony Romo on San Fran or Seattle with those defenses and the are guarenteed Super Bowl Champs. Wilson and Kap are average quarterbacks on teams with very good defenses.

You mean it isn't Luck's fault that his team gave up more than 80 points in the 2 playoff games this year? Huh

lol Tony Romo is a joke. Keep telling yourself this though, then act like I have the shitty opinion. Wilson and Kap are the future of the NFL. Not Luck and Romo.
