Default Erie is getting hammered again today

The Weather Channel is here filming the endless barrage of snow...

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21134540...32982#40532982

Note the giant mound of snow the reporter is standing on - right behind him is the sign for my old college campus... The University of 'The Downs at Erie' - or as it is called around here ... "The U"

That place was like a second home - actually more like a first home - growing up. I miss it ... the last five years it's been an empty building as Presque Isle Downs bought it out and has decided to do nothing with it still.

So what's on tap for you tonight?

The usual glass of warm milk and your trusty sock?

That weather map is scary...no wonder we're getting killed.

I wish they could pump out Lake Erie and store the water somewheres until spring.

Hey!!

It was a wish....it's not like it's really going to happen.

See how you like waking up to 8 inches of partly cloudy.

Thought you might like to know that the guy who releases the poyem codes has one in one of those books called:

Ode To My Socks...by Pablo Neruda.

Not gonna read it, but maybe you would want to read it.
