An hour and forty minutes between the turf and the Derby? Wow.

Within the article be aware that CD will have a pick three involving the OAKS, WOOLFORD RESERVE and DERBY.

That's a fun bet that could pay like $5 on the dollar if Einstein and Rachel Alexandra win their respective races.

They ran out of juleps in the infield a couple of times in recent years. I think I was actually with you roaming the grounds for 30 minutes looking for a Derby julep two years ago...one year they ran out of alcohol period.

Hank hit Advice last week after failing miserably all spring. He'll be talking about that for five more years.

What is the line, at Cannonshell.com, that Scav doesn't see the first race either day?

Thankfully, I should be there to verify Scav's whereabouts.

It's 1/9 I won't make it in time for the first race on Oaks day.

1/2 for the 2nd race.

13 races? 8pm? that's just nuts and with the time between the turf & derby, you would THINK they could still have dime superfecta wagering! the people who run these racing places just don't get it!

Are the times in the first post accurate? I need to know if I need to take a half day on Friday so I can watch the Distaff. I ask because I also see this with a different PT.

I believe TV coverage starts at 5pm... post time is as listed above.

EDIT:
wait- the above is wrong, because derby post time is 6:04 this year

Do you know which race the Distaff is on the card? If it's the 12th then this is all a moot point for me as I get home from work right around 5 EST.

I'm 99% sure it'll be the 6th or 7th race.
The 12th will be a maiden race.
