Default 11/21: CB Saturday - Spot play

I follow SIU basketball pretty closely. Last year we were slow and old and short a scholarship because of Tony Freeman, who is a stud and gets to play this year

Tomorrow they are on the road at UNLV, and they are getting 8.5. I really think SIU is a good play to at least keep it close, and they have a real good shot to win outright

We have improved 10 fold on the offensive side of the ball, put up 84 and 91 in the first two games (against medicore opponents, although Indianapolis beat Valpo, who played NC to 11) and last year there were games where we only put up 48-51pts.

I expect SIU to be good this year, top 2 in the Valley, make the tourney and probably make win a game, but next year, they are Elite 8 material.

I am on a Drugs like hiatus.

CBB man...It is the best bet you will make all day

The only issue is how they will travel, but they are not a bunch of freshman, CLo will have them focused

Don't forget Rick Majerus is in St. Louis. Hate to have them both on a plane to Wichita at the same time.

Oops! Didn't realize STL is now in the Atlantic 10, even for the last 5 years. No wonder they are not even a blimp on the radar in the area anymore.

Lost by 9... LOL

Shot 19% from 3pt land and only 35% from the field. Almost half their shots were 3pt'ers.

Poor performance, might have to rethink my enthusiam, might have been a little trigger happy given how the Cubs and Bears are piss pour, reaching
