It's a strange one all right.

Astrubel is even stranger.

And...Fausto?

Casey at the bat?

Jensen?

Here's JHONNY?

Where's Franklin?

Don't even ask about Trout.

Hey...ya see MannyFanny chugging down to first on that 6-4-3 dp by which he was out by 20 feet ?

I thought I saw 4 or 5 evenly spaced Loston fans on the first base line offering him water bottles.

Yeah, I noticed how the game was over when Schilling left...I guess they played the remaining innings for fun...

We just pray he remembers to run at all (and in the direction of 1st) after he hits the ball...

I have to admit that was a fine catch he made early in that last game.

I thought he was in a hurry toward the wall because he had to whizz.

God.
If we only had someone to play other than Peralta we'd be doing ok this postseason!!! I've seen 6 games this postseason and nothing bad from him in any aspect of the game. I guess there was that one occasion when he didn't throw out a fast left handed batter on the Yankees on a slow roller in the hole, but that would be awfully picky when that play led to exactly zero runs scored. I guess he's in a tough spot following the beloved Omar at that position, but going back through the history of Tribe shorstops...Felix Fermin, tom Veryzer, Jerry Dybzinski, Julio Franco, Mike Fischlin, Larvell Blanks, Frank Duffy, I'd be hard pressed to find more than Boudreau and Vizquel ranking above Peralta. Woody Held?? Chapman?? Maybe Franco...but not sure about that.

He's a really nice player. Peralta that is.

I stand fast by my decision to get him outa town and put Vizquel,Jr. at short.

I would take Fermin,Franco and Duffy over Here's Jhonny any day.

El Gato had a wicked stick

I still have the SI with Joe Carter and Corey Snyder on the front when they fooled the Cleveland faithful in to the team being good. They were 56 and 104 that year.

You are beyond crazy!! Jhonny's made every single play you can make this series with the glove. OF course, I'm ignoring the fact he completely turned the series around from disaster with his 3 run homer in game 2 and his rally starting walk and 1st to 3rd in the 6th inning allowed them to get the game to extra innings. I'm guessing you'd probably take Rick Manning over Grady Sizemore as well and Andy Allansen over Victor Martinez. And Rick Waits over CC Sabathia.

I still believe Joe Carter was one of the best RBI hitters ever. If a man was in scoring position Carter was bringing them home...

What I am saying is I will always take a good fielding shortstop over a poor one.

I would still like you to cite the hit Peralta has taken away from someone.

Anyone.

He makes the average play....but not always..although he has this post season...sorta/kinda.

I LOVED that dashing charge he made last night and then threw a frog to first base.

A GOOD fielding shorstop...and that's an out.

And I hasten to remind you of the night he made THREE higlight plays in one game as displayed by sports center this season..

..and it wasn't because they were GOOD ..either.
