I am thankful that we dodged the bullet here in Arkansas. 2 out of three of my grandchildren have had the stomach flu this week so today was the 3rd trip I had to make to Little Rock to see after them. Thought I was in trouble on Monday when daughter called for me to come and I looked outside and it was snowing, but it stopped and there was no accumulation on I-30. People around here do not know how to slow down when conditions are bad so it's damn scary
trying to go anywhere.

I'm beginning to adapt to this cold and with little wind and temps around 12 today it feels balmy. Plus instead of making the trip around the lake one can now drive over it cutting a 15 mile ride to 3. Thinking positive!
