Best closer in baseball?
Right now I'd say John Papelbon for the Red Sox.
33 games....23 saves and an ERA of 0.25. Only 1 earned run in 35 innings with 35 strikeouts. Thats pretty impressive stuff. I also like that Huston Street guy for Oakland and Jenks for the White Sox. |

Mariano Rivera has actually looked very hittable this year. Hes no longer "Goodnight, see ya later, Yankees win" is he? It really hurts him that they have to use him so often. Like the rest of us hes not getting any younger.
