Take Charge Indy?
Any word on whether talks stalled or there's still a chance in the future he'd be back? I assume if he were gonna make it for 2019 they've have announced something before now. I don't know what the deal is with a buy-back clause, what the Koreans may be wanting, etc. I just wanna know if WinStar decided 'you know what, never mind, too much.' He's #2 and not that far back on the second-crop sires list. I was hoping we'd see him chilling back in KY by now.

Per Elliott Walden, WinStar didn't exercise the option on Take Chg Indy, so he will remain there at least another year.

Guess I'll just have to root for the horses from his initial crops to have good year. I just saw he's got a G3P 2yo Pole Setter in the US so that's encouraging. I realize it's reaching, and I never know what to make of results from Russia, but there's a G3P 2yo there called Fast Bird who's a half to Havana. Take Charge Paula had a bullet work at Belmont and she's in the G2 Raven Run at Keeneland in a couple days so fingers crossed. |
