Default HRTV

my cable provider doesn't have it available to me, so i was thinking about signing up online, 9.99 a month or 49.99 a year.

Anyone have any good or bad opinions about this?

thanks for your help in advance

and gl today all

I signed up for a month to see if I prefer it and/or as an addition to twinspires which I already had. I still haven't decided if I'm going in for the 12months, but at that price it probably is silly not to purchase it.

Jeff Siegel's voice irritates me so much it makes watching HRTV more painful to me than it would be to most people....

Oh yeah, and even though some tracks are HD like Churchill - HRTV is not in HD at all.

I've got Dish, so I get both HRTV and TVG, but to be honest, I watch 99% of my races on twinspires. Take that $49.99 and make some wagers with it; you'll be better off.

Do you have issues with your video at times with Twinspires? Mine will freeze and/or skip.

I noticed it started doing that last week when I watched replays. It might have something to do with increased traffic because of the BC.

Is there any cable or dish package I can get where anything Joe Tessitore says is automatically muted?
I would be willing to pay top dollar.

I went ahead and signed up for 12 months for 49.95. I think it is worth it and I am just happy that I can see more tracks live. I can only get TVG on my cable system.

Though 49.95 is chump change for one year, however i dont see the point of paying money to watch live races on your computer. I assume you can only watch Magna tracks?
Twinspires video and replays are free, Youbet live video and replay are free, dish network is cheaper than cable and you get both HRTV and TVG

The whole HD thing is also pointless if your watching it on a crappy computer monitor streaming.

Twinspires requires you to bet on races and have a set amount of money in the account to watch races. Also they do not show all tracks either. I do not think I should have to actually bet on a race to get the opportunity to watch it.

I like HRTV quite a bit. No network is perfect, and they have their share of people I find rather obnoxious, but in general, I love the coverage and pacing of everything. Prefer to watch my races there than anywhere else.
