If the Lightning had Carl Hagelin and Rick Nash they would be completely unstoppable. May not show it in the box score, but these two are game changers.

Mike Milbury is clearly watching a completely different game. Or is a complete imbecile.

Will the bishop take the king?
I love Henrik, have great respect for him.
That's the most good you'll ever see me say about the rangers. Don't like em. Don't hate em like the pens, but I sure dont like them.
More than anything tho....I love hearing espo on the radio when Tampa plays...and that's about all the good I have to say about Tampa!

Great series. Don't know what to say. I was confident the whole way, but they had me rattled at times for sure. Never batted an eye after game 6, having to head back to NY, this team has shown the resiliency that only the young possess.

They were best team tonight. Surprised Rangers played so soft

I'll take it easy on ya (can't vouch for Grunder tho...)

They played tough. Bishop hasn't allowed a goal in MSG in 145 minutes (and counting). That was the difference tonight. Once again, as Seth pointed out last time, the ice was chewed up after 3 minutes after each period. Maybe they need new chillers or something. Crazy that they didn't haven't that figured out, but first blood was the key.

Bob, the entire area is on fire (for the most part) for this team. The problem that Tampa will always have is the transplants ( that make up a huge % of the population) that keep their loyalties to the area they come from. We'll always deal with it here, just a fact of life.

I would swear that Rudy Giuliani, when he was cleaning up Times Square, also secretly shipped every single fat slob from Staten Island -replete with his sweat-stained 5XL "Jetah" tee shirt and his Yankee's emblem calf tat - to Tampa.

They are unavoidable, and there can't possibly be any of them left up there.

Anaheim would be a godsend, as it will keep the transplanted Chicagoans home, and we can actually celebrate this team for Tampa, without dealing with the opposing team's transplanted fans...But I'm up for whoever.

Lightning played fine and deserve to move on to the SCF. Bishop made like 2.5 OK saves. They have as good a top 6 as any in the NHL.

But holy cow, was that an uninspired effort in front of Hank in a Game 7 at home. Add that to the no-show in Game 5 and this is hard to stomach from a Presidents' Trophy winning team.

If I'm Lundqvist, I'm seriously, seriously disappointed.
