Awesome! Great work Chuck. When I saw low 46 I was sure we were toast. What a game effort by Sumwon.

Default Great News

2nd at this level is great news...
Most happy for all of us Dee Tee partners getting 20% of the purse and having Chuck getting his cut to recoup some of his investment in her....

Default Description of Race

Did not see the race.
Can anyone describe how it was run. Was Sumwon on the lead and tired???

Had every reason to quit setting tough fractions but fought and was well clear of 3rd and not far from winning.

Was watching her warm up on the track feed and Willie really had her stretching her legs, add that to Sumwon looking the picture of health knew there'd be a good effort today - added bonus going off at 10/1, $2 exacta in a 6-horse field paid $74.80, will take it lol...

She was on the lead set fraction in the 23 & 45 range (sorry, I'm still shaking in excitement ) dug in gamely down the stretch when passed and finished about 3 ahead of the 3rd place horse.

Good girl!

Great job Chuck.

That's exciting, very happy to see she improved greatly off her last. Couldn't watch the race anywhere. Congrats to Chuck and all who have worked so hard with Sumwon.

the filly just loves to run, not a quitter - hearing those fractions gave me a moment but she didn't throw in the towel - again, very game effort... thank you to our Manager, Chuck and all the barn connections for all you do!!

She didn't quit, right there at the wire. The 2 had a golden inside trip. Her pace figures in her previous race were very good and I am sure they will be even better today. This is a great sign for future improvement
