i am very happy with how things have turned out all things considered. fire a coach and hire another, injuries throughout the season-especially to nick and green-really didn't help. and now late with the goalie situation. holtby has been simply amazing in this series. the caps ought to be proud of how they've done.
but it'll still be a bitter pill to swallow if they don't advance with all the high hopes at the seasons' start.

would be interesting if the top four seeds all go out first round, but i'd be surprised. i have a feeling nj pulls out the game 7 vs fla. rangers-who knows?

but please, please don't mush the caps.

you know, that's the third or fourth time one of our guys has gotten pushed after the whistle. but nothing done. the one on chimera earlier was a ridiculous non-call.
but, whatever, refs are refs and an easy target....for good reason.

Alright Dani (and whoever else wants to play), who's gonna be the hero?
Give me one Cap and one Bruin.

I'll take Semin for the Caps and Chris Kelly for the B's
