People like you equate a team's win-loss record 100% to the QB. Sorry, it may be the most important position, but it still is a team game. Dan Marino never won a Super Bowl but Hostetler and Dilfer have. Would you not consider Marino a great QB?

Where did he equate a team's win-loss record to the QB?

In his previous statement when he stated Luck's win loss record.

I think Luck is a very good quarterback but I find it silly that his fanboys get so upset at any criticism. I've heard Peyton Manning take tremendous amounts of criticism, I've even heard criticism of Brady's play this year, and more recently, Russell Wilson has taken heat. Its apparently ok to criticize them, but God forbid if anyone points out anything negative about Luck.

I really don't think he was equating the Colt's win-loss record 100% to Andrew Luck like you're trying to infer.

People like me? lol

Of course the QB gets an over sized amount of credit or blame for teams winning or losing but in this case this is the key player that a 2-14 team acquired which immediately turned into 22 wins over the next 2 seasons. Of course he doesn't make tackles on defense or kick FG's but to ignore the obvious huge positive impact that Luck has had is silly.

We aren't talking about winning a super bowl here. Marino set a million records and made the playoffs 10 times.

Want Luck stats?
His completion % went up 6% this year to 60.2%
He threw 23 TD's and 18 INT's as a rookie and this year threw 23 TD's and only 9 INT's.
His QB rating went from 76.5 as a rookie to 87.0 this year.
His sack totals went from 41 to 32
He has had 11 game winning drives and 8 4th quarter comebacks not counting the playoff game against KC.

He clearly is good and getting better

You phrase this like Russell Wilson is something special? He is 16th in passing yards and had 2 300 games this year. Averages around 209 yds a game. IMO he is a gimmick QB with a short career span. Any QB relying so much on his legs won't be around long be it Defenses figuring it out, him taking a big hit or father time catching up with him.

Passing yardage is the most overrated stat of all. Passing efficiency is more important. Wilson had a QB rating of 100 in each of his first two years. Don't know how many QBs have done that. Not very many.

Russell Wilson is special! He's a winner.
He's the #1 QB in the NFL on someone's list.

Romo is a fantasy league specialist. He is not an elite quarterback. He also has one of the top WRs in the league in Dez Bryant and one of the top TEs in Witten. You've got to be joking. I suppose teams would be great with Matthew Stafford as well....

i don't dislike wilson at all. i was only talking about the list.

and this is another example of the qb getting too much credit for a good run. a team has to put it all together to be a consistent top team. a good qb is a part of it, but not all of it. and good teams can do well in spite of a not so good qb. hell, everyone knows denver was loaded-how else explain them making the playoffs with tim tebow?!

and now super bowl champ....getting ahead of yourself a bit.

BTW, how many hard hits has this "one hit wonder" taken? Not many. Unlike some, he knows how to slide. Many of his runs are scrambles, not designed runs. Wilson is smart, and will be a factor in the league for a number of years.

He will age well. Because he does not get hit and he is not run first. He also has a cannon arm. He proved he is the best in the business.

Exactly Zig. Seahawks are champions in spite of not because of Wilson. This team with a QB like Luck would be a dynasty. 20% return betting against them repeating is free money.

I'd put Wilson in the top 10 currently, but no way in the top 4. With that said, he was quite efficient on 3rd down in the Super Bowl. 8.25 YPA for the season - 4th high in the league - is nothing to look past. I don't think Seattle has any issue if Wilson is needed to carry a game.

BTW someone mention about Wilson getting lack of hits. 4th most QB sacked this year.
