We've had a trainer or two of ours go to Tampa during the winter. Economically it doesn't appear to make a lot of sense, but I'm not the trainer. I guess the "go there to break even" and "freshen up your horse" and "claim a few" might be the target.

I haven't been there in a few years but it's always been "OK" to me. I don't remember any of the local courses. Good luck and enjoy.

Eric

I love Tampa. IMO, the surface is better for the horses than Gulfstream.

Oh my, I think he will be 11 on Jan 1.

The definition of a horse for the course....I wouldn't put one big run past him this winter. As long as Ronnie Allen spots him properly....

No A-Rod, but George will be there if he has one in. He always shows up to watch his horses run.

So what is the plan with this Tampa trip and who is coming? Are we doing Gulfstream and Tampa in the same trip or different trips?

I think we need to start a tradition with the first annual Bigsmc Open.....

Im in...gonna be after the first of the year. To be honest, Gulfstream doesn't hold alot of appeal to me, so I'm happy with a Tampa only trip.

We don't care about your appeal, you will go where we say to go and like it. I hear Vegas has inside information that I will light you up on the course, has me, who should be 40/1, bet down to 15/1 because of your sorry ass performance at Saratoga.

You guys going to Tampa. I may be in depending on date. Being Steve's age may not keep up with you guys but you may be surprised.

We will hunt shark in the morning.

Then we will swim with the dolphins at the Sequarium in the afternoon.

Got to keep it all balanced.
