Balletto,
I just put it in my "favorites". I'll be back.
Wish him luck with his blog.
Looks like many posters here will be sharing there.

I feel an attack of pet peeve coming on.....,

"Majestic Legend was produced by the exceptional stallion and turf and stamina"

Stallions do not 'produce' offspring, nor are such offspring 'out of' a sire; they 'get' or 'sire' them and offspring are by a sire.

Okay, pet peeve attack is over. Please resume your normal posting.

Hey question for you... what is a "blue hen"? is it a term for a high-producing mare?
the only "blue hens" i know are the University of Delaware kind!

Bluehen is a term thats given to a mare who's proven to be influential on the breed... a "foundation" mare.

Well I understand. It's a pretty unsecure system because it's in the infancy stage. There have been reports of transactions being lost and there have been quite a few customers who haven't been satisfied and have demanded a refund, no matter how difficult the refunding process may be.

I checked out your brother's blog. It was very interesting. Where does he get his information? A web site, publication, years of data collection?

He's a pedigree nut. He's just always been around my dad and the industry. I love pedigrees, but his knowledge puts me to shame.
