Default Oaks/Derby Pick 6

https://www.bloodhorse.com/horse-rac...rby-day-pick-6

This looks interesting, its a separate wager from the jackpot 6 and it has a mandatory payout, all Grade 1s, two on Oaks Day and 4 on Derby Day. I'm thinking about throwing a couple of bucks at this one

Let me know those singles Billy, and I'll play a backup ticket.

I'll nail all 3 of my singles and not hit the board going 17 deep in the Derby to miss out on the 5 of 6 conso...if there is one.

Just that dialed in over the past 18 months.

I have to back to school to understand these rules....

.......... Churchill will offer Pick 6 wagers on Kentucky Oaks Day and Kentucky Derby Day at a $2 minimum.

The jackpot, 20-cent minimum Single 6 wager, in which the full jackpot is paid only if there is a single winner, will begin at the start of the meet and continue throughout, with a forced payout on the meet's final day of racing. The track also could set mandatory payout days before the meet's close and will inform the racing commission and public in advance of such decisions.

This new approach to the jackpot Single 6 wager will end the previous option to transfer carry-over from Churchill's $2 Pick 6 wager offered during Derby week to the Single Six Jackpot pool.

Don't love the $2 Min.. Will probably try and single 2 or 3 races and hit a miracle. Will play it for < $100. Initially I thought it was .20

With a $2 min, even on Derby Day, might not attract enough $ to make it worth playing.

Best value that weekend is the superfecta with $1minimum.
Worst value is head to head betting with ridiculous 17.5% takeout.
