Somewhere around here on the forum there was a thread going about superstitions.

I've got one, applicable to the 1st at Saratoga today.

My mother always told me, "money not wagered always wins."

Translation, if you thought about betting it....but didn't........it would be a winner.

Well, I was all pumped to go bet her with a nice win, and a nicer place, but just realized my San Francisco area OTB will not be open for the 1st at Saratoga.

I'm a purist, and haven't gotten involved with web wagering.

But, since I had planned to wager on her, I hope that's a good omen for all you Happy Horse Owners.

To answer the question, I'll have a 10AM bloody mary, likely with salsa and eggs, while watching from our Northern California living room.

From the couch, or more likely pacing nervously, just north of Lexington, Kentucky!

I'll be there in person....my first trip to the Spa. Leaving from a friends house in Stillwater, NY in a few short hours. I'm already a nervous wreck.

They've not shown Saratoga yesterday and day before! They'd better get it right today ...

I'll be watching the race on TVG from Spokane, Washington with my DT gear on... and even though the race goes off at 10am local time, maybe I'll have a Blanton's on the rocks if she wins

Good luck to Chuck, Steve, and the rest of the owners!
