It was a privilege to be there today - I think in time she'll be remembered as a better filly than Zarkava even though she never got within 2 lenghts of her (Zarkava is the last horse to beat Goldi over a mile!)

I really havent seen many horses go above and beyond for the long term in my horse racing lifetime!

now, that's a polite way to call me old! lol yeah, you guys are cheated, really. it's one of the bright spots of this economy, some horses are waiting longer to retire. but they still aren't getting the racing in. hell, zenyatta is 6 and still hasn't even hit 20 lifetime, which is really insane when you think about it.

not trying to be "that guy" but Goldikova did run 7th in her debut last year at 1 1/8th. And as pointed out above, I think Ouija Board is an extremely good parallel to Goldikova.

I think best comparasion for Zarkava, is Sea the Stars, and I think she was better than him...

agree with your point - im not necessarily saying that Goldi is better than Zarkava but in time she will be looked at as a legend (especially if she wins a 3rd BC!)

Looks like she will have a little break and head for the Marois (which she won last year) the Foret (which she should have won last year) and then the BC.
