I totally agree with the low SAN PASQUAL #. A pathetic effort by all involved. Saturday was a new low in the training career of Eoin Harty. He was already one of the most inconsistent trainers around, and this performance only backed that up. The SOCAL stewards continue to ignore fouls(by winners) if the winner is the best horse that day. I don't have a big problem with it if they remain consistent. There's gunna come a point when they have to look at the danger that is encouraged by this though. For instance, it seems Gomez now considers it normal to throw his horse towards any horse trying to pass him for the lead late in a race. He did this again Sunday in that 3rd race. He has been doing this routinely the last year, and people are pretty much ignoring this cheater's ways. Bejarano had to take up momentarily, and make yet another final run. If Gomez had won that photo, he would of stayed up. He pretty much has the KEY to SOCAL from these stewards. I don't think you would like to see every jock start throwing their horse into the path of horses trying to get the lead from them. At some point, they need to stop overlooking this guy's cheating. Don't get me wrong. He's a great rider, but he cheats openly. When somebody throws their horse back at him (someday,) you're gunna see a bad accident. That will be on the stewards for continuing to ignore this. Then, you'll see why I brought it up, but only then.

Harty is terrible because he is inconsistent.
