Fighting City Hall, a 10 YO gelding, popped at 45-1 April 21st, 5th race at Emerald Downs in a $3,500 claimer.
It was his first start since Oct. of last year for new trainer Neil Knapp. Fighting City Hall broke his maiden in his first start at SA Jan. 15th, 2006 for trainer Warren Stute and was claimed by Jeff Mullins. He has been in the barn of Doug O'Neill, Mark Glatt, Steve Sherman and for the last four years Patrick Gleason. He has run every year at almost every track in California, Arizona and now Washington. His claim to fame was a 2nd place finish in the restricted Snow Chief Stakes in his 3YO season.

9-year-old Rahystrada with Rosie aboard finished a close second in the 9th at Churchill yesterday, in very respectable company.

Awesome about Fighting City Hall and Rahystrada!
Tomorrow at HP - quite a few older gentlemen running including Tres Borrachos (wish he had a (MUCH) better jockey but I guess if Blanc won one yesterday there's always hope), Italian Rules, Stoneside, Total Bull and Quindici Man. It's like all star day.  Can't wait!

Tonight's 9th at Canterbury features the 11 year old 'Yes He's a Pistol'. He will be going for his 20th win in 94 career races. The son of Yes It's True sold for $60K at the 2003 August OBS sale. He's banked over $357K in his career.

The 11 yr old Porfido is entered in the 8th at Turf Paradise this afternoon. He sports a 58-9-9-10 record and has banked over $500,000. Was actually claimed earlier this year as an 11 yr old. Safe travels!!
