Sum of the Parts wow, still pissed. Always bet that horse Doug told me before he ever ran that he was an absolute rocket ship. Got off yesterday and got burnt.

All the good baby's are in NY. The NY bred did the dirty work held well to win. Havana ran well, so did Honor Code. I'm sure Baffert has some unraced monsters still in Cali, but nothing that's run out there or in Kentucky can compete with the exacta horses from either stakes today. Obviously as 2yr olds mature this can all change.

HTF is this possible? Testa Rossi ran 3/5ths of second faster that Bobby's Kitten (and every internal fraction of her race was faster than the boys race, BTW). The races were back-to-back (races 9 and 10). I did not observe any precip between races. So they split the variant...why? Because BK looked so visually impressive? It can't be because of the numbers not matching established form--these 2YOs don't have enough established form to justify that.

I smell BS (not on you, Steve--not shooting the messenger here).

Well, there you go--I was in the weeds (or into the weed), obviously. Thanks for the heads up.
