Default DEWEY tries to rebound

Mohawk tonight $1,000,000 race #7 DEWEY going to try and win from the 10 hole.

I kind of like #2 Clerk Magistrate a little...but if DEWEY wins

He lost last week to Crazed in the eliminations at Mohawk. Trainer/Drive says he thinks he runs better from a bit farther back and not on the lead.

He said he has gone to the front in an attempt to keep his streak alaive - ie trying to keep him out of trouble.

I guess tonight we'll find out if he does indeed like it off the pace.

Should be a great race!

It's a sloppy track, and still raining. Dewey has his work cut out tonight with post 10 and conditions. I will be rooting for him.

He's back! Gets revenge on Crazed showing the lead from the 10 hole then surrending the lead to Crazed to get the pocket trip just before the half. Sat the pocket till the 1/8th pole then spit horses and on his way by a length or so in the Canadian Trotting Classic. Hellava horse....

Dewey Is The MAN, what a great trotter. He seems to glide on air with his smooth gait, must also add Ray gave him a awesome drive.

You have to love Dewey and Somebeach ... To me they are the best racehorses out there, bar breed ...

It is especially cool that Dewy gets ridden by his owner, trainer, driver ...

Thanks OASD for the link..it looked like Tetrick didn't have much choice but to rush to the front on the backside. I am sure he would have rather sat the pocket like last time.

Very impressive how DEWEY muscled his way out. Ray said he thought when he has been on the lead previously he was waiting for other horses...

Unfortunately, the last line in the article is the worst part of the article...
