Default Winticket/Bris - Part of Churchill Downs now

Anyone else get the email? Winticket gets to access the TwinSpiresClub also....quite interesting...

This effects all of AmericaTab, correct, so Brisbet also?

Default demise of Brisbet

Although the press release says thre will be no significant changes I smell a rat. Brisbet will eventually disappear. Unforturate for its clients.

or the other way around, and they just get rid of Twinspires.com and use this platform, which I think is more plausible...Who knows what they will do though

The press release for those that want to read it:

What is your take on the whole thing?

My assumption is that twinspires.com is bye bye now that they have this. That really turns the ADW industry into four major players (TVG, Youbet, Americatab, Xpressbet)

I wouldn't be surprised to see TVG and Youbet merge somehow to combat all this stuff. 4 major players in a market where they should be 1, 2 max......

Since they just recently combined with Magna, I think it is more possible that they will disband the Brisbet pltform and keep the Twin Spires brand.

Over the years, the AmericaTAB- and BRIS-affiliated businesses have developed very loyal customers, and we want to assure our account holders and data subscribers that the ADW platforms and information services will continue to operate as they have in the past. We anticipate no significant changes to the ADW services Winticket.com, BrisBET.com and TsnBET.com or to the data sites www.brisnet.com and www.tsnhorse.com. All of these online sites will continue to operate under their existing brands and offer the same quality products and services that our customers have come to expect.

I hope this statement is true.

Why do I have this feeling that the cost of Brisnet products will be going up in the near future?
