GoldMark Farm's Whitney Invitational Handicap (gr. I) winner Cross Traffic will not run in the Nov. 2 Breeders' Cup Classic (gr. I) after sustaining a minor shin injury when the track broke out from underneath him at the start of the Sept. 28 Jockey Club Gold Cup (gr. I) at Belmont Park, his connections said Oct. 2.

Probably should have underlined "his connections said" as well. I'll take that with a grain of salt.

Beholder, MMM, and Goldencents made this one heck off a BC for me!! Indy Point was my only real disappointment.... Will Take Charge put in a winning effort and should improve next year... Congrats to Gary Stevens on his 1st Classic win!!
