Default John Henry '81 Million

It looks like this was just posted on you tube yesterday, but it's a great quality video of the race plus 7 minutes of NBC's post race coverage, interviews with Eddie D, Willie, etc

Click here: YouTube - John Henry winning 1981 Arlington Million

and if I'm technically challenged and the link doesn't work, it's easy to find

One of the biggest screw jobs in American racing history. The Bart won easily, however Arlington could not have the first $1,000,000 race go to a complete bomb over the odds-on favorite. Also for anyone that visits Arlington and goes over and looks at the life-size bronze statue commemorating the race, The Bart still has his nose in front.

If you listen to the post race paddock interviews with both jockeys, the first thing that The Bart's rider ( Eddie D?) told John Henry's rider right after they crossed the line was "I think you got me"..
He knew...

I think I was served The Bart in my Kung Pao last night. Mark me absent today.
