With the BC prep races essentially behind us (23 days, 16 hours and 5 minutes to go), you can't go too far wrong choosing the Maryland Million Day, even if having just over $1,000,000 of purses for an entire day of racing isn't as impressive as it once was.
Each of the races have very full fields and ought to be extremely competitive, as many Maryland based trainers judge a season's success on how well their runners perform on the day that the great Jim McKay inspired.
