In the end, this country is still the best in golf.....they had to include every single European country to make the event competitive. I've also never liked that every single player doesn't play every single match. Just have 6 foursome and fourball matches the first two days. Shouldn't depth be part of it also?? Sorry, I just get a kick out of the Euros winning for some reason....don't know why. For some reason it seems guys like Poulter and Garcia get more up for this than majors.

I've been battling a guy over a certain player that he says has been choking, and won't give knowledge to how well the actual winners have been playing.

Well anyways, I mentioned how said player went 5-0 in 2011 President's Cup, where all players get to play every match, he says President's Cup is not as pressure packed as the Ryder Cup. Really?!

Anyways the point was to mention that the President's Cup they allow all members to play in all matches (repetitive I know).

Default Johnny Miller not thrilled by choices

As always, he has an opinion critical.

How must Watson feel now with his choices , with Hoerschel playing his ass off for the past few weeks. Would be nice to have a hot hitter on our side going in now.

#1 F*ck Johhny
#2 Horschel has had 2 years to play his way onto the team.

IMO...one if the biggest reasons Watson picked Webb is because he is the only dude on the team willing to put up with Bubba's crybaby act on the course.

As stoked as I am to watch it, the starch was really taken out of it for me once the captain's picks were chosen. Would've loved to see a few new faces, esp when Webb had as horrific a year as he did.

That said.... LETS PHUCKIN' GO --- RED, WHITE, AND BLUEEEE!

Possible partner for Webb; Reed, who is a good 2nd shot maker , while Webb is a short off thee tee for par 5's. Interesting profile of Reed though.

Fowler and Walker can't close out and that halve is absolutely brutal. I wish the US side had a few more players that you can really root for.

Looking like the worst decision of the week will be resting Reed and Spieth after their strong effort this morning.

Had the feeling when Rory sank putt on 17 that they were in trouble.

Now here comes Phil with the criticism, it's apparent nothing would of made the difference. The team unity and spirit the Euros have is something the current Americans have not grasped, I blame Tiger and Phil they should of stepped up to the plate and lead.

LOL.

It's not really a fair competition. Let the US add the rest of the Americas and then those idiots would stfu.

Nothing worse than seeing Brits and Irishmen chant Ole over and over. Maybe the event would mean something if it didn't have that air of bankrupt socialism and total bread and circuses.

Default Redux on RC

Lots of dissension coming out now from unknown sources on team blaming Watson for lack of leadership. I had read during it, that players had rejected his call for revenge as a motivator.

Interesting SI article on it,
