this season continues to prove my thought that the whole league is 8-8 and the quality of football is Terrible.
surprises: how AWFUL the lions, bengals, browns and raiders are but they are the 4 worst run teams in the league. 49ers are pretty close behind them. no surprise: norv turner and wade phillips continue to prove they are NOT head coaches. jeff fisher MIGHT be the best head coach in the league. he wins and his teams play Hard doesn't matter what crap they give him to work with.

lions are no surprise at all. they give new meaning to the word ineptitude.
i'd say the skins are a surprise-they caught everyone off guard with their 6-2 start, and now have surprised everyone by going 1-5 since. ugh jags a surprise, everyone expected them to do well off of what they showed a year ago. i'd also include the bills, they have tailed off dramatically. pats, after losing brady, have shown surprising resiliency. atlanta showed petrino wasn't such a genius after all.
